Holloway Vision has a long history of proudly supporting the local community through sponsorship of sporting clubs and community groups. Currently Holloway Vision is delighted to support the following community groups, sporting organisations and Wangaratta Agricultural Society.
For over 25 years, Holloway Vision has provided a free vision screening to the kindergarten children of Wangaratta and North East Victoria. The screening detects long or short sightedness, colour vision problems and eye co-ordination issues such as turns or lazy eyes. Over 300 children are assessed each year and their parents are provided with the reassurance that their child is entering school equipped to learn. There are no other local optometrists with this level of experience or insight in dealing with our pre-school children.
Paint Presto is an exciting three day art event held alongside the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues on the Cup Weekend in November. It is an outdoor painting experience that challenges artists to paint or draw from the community in just one day. Combined with a workshop by an established artist and a public exhibition, it offers an outstanding opportunity for the community to be involved in the arts.
